After some delay, FIDIC is pleased to announce that the FIDIC Certified Consulting Engineers (FCCE) who sat their exams at the tail end of 2019 will receive their certificates in 2020.

FIDIC signs key agreements with regional partners

FIDIC has signed two important agreements for key international markets. The International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC) has signed key agreements for the Chinese market and also for the African market.

Until recently, FIDIC conferences generally took place in-person, at various designated venues around the world. The regional conferences were no exception, providing a platform to discuss issues and local priorities as regards.

MOU with AIIB

A major agreement was secured between FIDIC and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) this month. Under the terms of the agreement, FIDIC has granted AIIB a non-exclusive license to refer to the nine major FIDIC contracts and use these standard contracts for the next five years.

FIDIC and CHINCA sign international collaboration agreement

FIDIC signed a unique and avant-garde memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the China International Contractors Association (CHINCA) to better facilitate collaboration between international and Chinese businesses, aid skills and knowledge transfer, which would in turn help to increase the understanding and use of FIDIC contracts.
